If at first you don't succeed

Growing up in England I remember my teacher telling us a legend about Robert the Bruce of Scotland.

After a long and arduous battle, Robert the Bruce defeated and worn out fled to a nearby cave. As he sat thoroughly discouraged, he noticed a spider by the entrance of the cave climbing up the wall trying to start its web, and then falling back down. He watched as the spider tried several times, and eventually it succeeded in starting its web. The completed web was intricate as it shone in the light filtering into the cave. This feat of never giving up inspired Robert to gather his men, and return to battle,  defeating his enemies. Staying in the moment, and watching nature maybe we can be inspired.
